We are active in Suriname and the Netherlands. In Suriname we work from Paramaribo, with The Nanny Daycare at Rode Kruislaan 14.
Our screening consists of an intake and application, reference checks, verification of identity and documents, a personal interview, an assessment of experience and a background check where available and permitted.
You start your request via the website. Within 24 hours we will contact you to discuss your wishes, schedule and the practical terms. We then select a suitable childcare professional.
The earlier you request, the better the chance we can schedule the best matching professional. If in doubt, get in touch and we will look at the options right away.
Yes, we are happy to consider last-minute requests. Placement is always subject to the availability of our childcare professionals.
Our professionals speak Dutch and in most cases English as well. If you have a language preference, mention it during the intake and we will take it into account in the matching.
Please mention allergies, medical details, dietary requirements and fixed routines in your request or during the intake. We include this information in the matching and in the handover to the professional.
Rates depend on the service, the hours and the duration of the assignment. Different rates may apply for evening, weekend and public holiday assignments. A booking has a minimum of 4 hours per assignment. During the intake you receive a clear proposal.
Yes. Once you decide to start the process and we begin matching, selection or placement, a one-time registration and administration fee of USD 75 per family applies. Requesting information is of course free of charge.
Both are possible: from a single evening to a fixed weekly arrangement. We match the form to your family and schedule.

Yes, homework support is available within Nanny at Home and within Afterschool Care (NSO).
If a professional is unexpectedly unavailable, we will work with you to find a suitable solution or replacement as quickly as possible.
Daycare and Preschool are for young children; Afterschool Care (NSO) is for school-age children. During the introduction we are happy to discuss what suits your child.
Daycare is daily care for young children in a safe and stimulating environment. Preschool is learning and developing through play in preparation for primary school. Afterschool Care (NSO) is care after school hours, with room for relaxation, activities and homework support if desired.
The Nanny Daycare is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00. Weekend and evening care at the location can be discussed on request.
You register your child via our digital enrolment form. On receipt we will contact you to discuss your care requirements, preferred days and start date. Enrolment for Daycare, Preschool and NSO runs through the Bitcare enrolment route.
We assess per request whether a place is available within the requested type of care and days. If there is no immediate place, your child can be added to the waiting list and we will contact you as soon as a suitable place becomes available.
Yes, we warmly encourage it. Before a placement becomes final, we invite you for a personal introduction and a visit to the location.
Our all-in concept includes a warm lunch, age-appropriate activities and development materials, and parent communication through the digital parent portal.
In addition to the personal handover, the parent portal keeps you informed of daily moments, activities and relevant updates about your child.
The parent portal runs through Bitcare. You can send and receive messages, and you receive daily updates on how your child is doing.
Yes, within Afterschool Care (NSO) homework support is available if desired.

Daycare and Preschool are for children up to 4 years old. Once your child starts school, you can use our Afterschool Care (NSO). Please register well in advance so we can check availability.
The Nanny Daycare is closed on official public holidays. In addition we may schedule a few training days per year. We communicate closing days to parents well in advance.
Cancellation is possible with one month's notice, effective on the 1st or the 16th of the month. We work with a minimum placement of 2 months after the contract starts. You can cancel by email via info@hotelnannyservice.com.
You receive your invoice by email on the 15th of the month, except on weekends and public holidays. Payment takes place at the start of the following month. If you have a question about an invoice, email info@hotelnannyservice.com.
Personal support around pregnancy, birth, postpartum and the baby period: maternity care, postpartum care, lactation consultancy, in-home baby care, night care and maternity packages.
